CMT Unseen – September Awareness Campaign
September is Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Awareness Month — a powerful time for our community to come together, raise our voices, and take action. Whether you live with CMT or love someone who does, you can make a difference this month by helping spread awareness, supporting vital research, and empowering others to live boldly.
This year’s theme, CMT Unseen, shines a spotlight on what the world doesn’t see — the hidden symptoms of CMT and the behind-the-scenes work that fuels research, advocacy, and hope for our community.
Kickoff: The #CMTUnseen Photo Challenge
Post a split photo with two captions:
- “CMT Seen” (your visible symptoms or challenges with CMT).
- “CMT UnSeen” (your invisible symptoms or challenges with CMT).
- Add the HNF donation link to your post.
- Use hashtags #CMTUnseen #HNF4CMT #CMTAwarenessMonth #CMTweGotThis
- Include a link to your own Facebook or Instagram fundraiser and invite friends to support CMT research.
